PAPER & CARD STOCK

Not all paper is made the same!

In the Australian print industry, the acronym “gsm“, which stands for “grams per square meter”, is used as a measure of paper thickness and quality. Generally speaking, the higher the gsm, the heavier and thicker the paper. As a guide:

This paper weight is classified as card stock. Premium business cards and high quality invitations are printed on this paper thickness.

Here at Alannah Rose, we only offer premium paper and card stocks that have been rigorously tested in our printers to ensure compatibility and professional print quality. As you would suspect, the paper and card stock options are endless, however, to limit confusion and streamline our ordering process, we have limited our card options to the most popular premium card stocks that each have their own unique qualities.
