We’re celebrating a special milestone this week. It’s our 4th Birthday!
On October 1 2005 we officially pushed the ‘go’ button on our website and went live. Time has flown and I have thoroughly enjoyed the ride, so thank you to our gorgeous clients, lovely friends, retailers, suppliers and my fabulous family for your continued support and for making what I do each day so thoroughly enjoyable.
This year we have grand plans for bigger and better things, so stay tuned, I can’t wait to share it all with you.

Technology never ceases to amaze me, only a few years ago people didn’t even know what blogs were (ok some still don’t, but we’ll give them time). Now there’s all manner of things to read, watch and love on the net. We’ve decided to embrace the digital era and also join the likes of twitter and facebook.

It’s a gorgeous sunny day in Melbourne today, perfect weather for showing off your beautiful diamond rings.
Engaged and already married, I’m very blessed to have some beautiful jewelery, but that’s not to say one can’t wish for more. Enter the Tiffany Celebration Rings. Perfect for celebrating and remembering life’s more important moments.
The Tiffany website has a wonderful little tool that lets you create your own stack – a little dangerous, but fun none the less. This little stack will set you back oh, somewhere in excess of $68,000, umm honey… I’m worth it, really. (I know you read the blog… xx)

I finally got around to finishing my pinboard project last week, I’ve had a canvas and fabric sitting around for months!
The board itself was easy to make, just a plain canvas (in my instance it was one I painted a while ago and did a terrible job of!) a piece of fabric stretched over the top and tacked at the back, some ribbons, pins and pegs.
The contents are what’s inspiring me at the moment, and bits and pieces that I’ve received that I like.
The theme at the moment seems to be black and white, vintage and pretty birds!
Pin boards are a great idea for on the go projects, if you’re getting married why not dedicate one to your wedding details, you can add or take things off as you go along, ditto for planning a kids birthday party. I like being able to see things at a glance, rather than sifting through piles of paperwork!
I love vintage posters. The illustrations, the colour, the typography, I’d been longing for the Favor one for a while, they sometimes have it in the window of a store on High Street, but tonight I’ve found a new favourite on Galerie Montmartre (found via Real Living).
Bally Plume – I just love it, a combination of my favourites red, pink, footwear and fashion!
Ahh, I would love this on my office wall! xx

BIRTHDAY!
On the 1st of October 2005, the first Alannah Rose stationery website was launched under very little fanfare – I simply pressed upload!
So today it’s our 3rd Birthday! So much has happened in three years, and there’s still so much more to come!
In three years we’ve: launched our new website and blog, tripled the amount of designs for wedding invitations and baby cards, worked with thousands of gorgeous clients across the globe, worked with celebrities, been nominated for awards, featured in over 25 magazines, and made our range available to resellers in Australia. (phew, no wonder I’m a little tired today!)
And it’s all due to you, our wonderful clients, supporters, suppliers, retailers, family and friends. Without you we wouldn’t be here, and your wonderful feedback and continued support is what keeps us going. So thank you, this little piece of cake is for you!
So stay tuned – the next year is going to be bigger and better! 10 new designs for weddings on their way, an exciting new retailer in Sydney for Spring and a huge surprise to be announced later in the year!
