On My {pinboard}
inspiration boards, lifeI finally got around to finishing my pinboard project last week, I’ve had a canvas and fabric sitting around for months!
The board itself was easy to make, just a plain canvas (in my instance it was one I painted a while ago and did a terrible job of!) a piece of fabric stretched over the top and tacked at the back, some ribbons, pins and pegs.
The contents are what’s inspiring me at the moment, and bits and pieces that I’ve received that I like.
The theme at the moment seems to be black and white, vintage and pretty birds!
Pin boards are a great idea for on the go projects, if you’re getting married why not dedicate one to your wedding details, you can add or take things off as you go along, ditto for planning a kids birthday party. I like being able to see things at a glance, rather than sifting through piles of paperwork!
Butterfly {garden} in Blue – Mini Wedding Invitation Inspiration
inspiration boards, weddingsToday’s mini inspiration board is based on a gorgeous colour variation for our Butterfly Garden Wedding Invitation. The lovely Claire and Alexander chose the gorgeous Ocean blue shade from our colour palette and the result was stunning.

Two Little Birds – Charcoal & Ivory {wedding} Invitation Inspiration
inspiration boards, weddingsThe next mini inspiration board features a gorgeous and sophisticated colour palette for our two little birds wedding invitation design. Customised for Kylea & Daniel this invitation design uses charcoal, silverbell and ivory from our custom colour palette.

Double {happiness} ~ Mini Inspiration

I thought I’d start the year off with a series of mini inspiration boards using some of the work we’ve been doing for clients with our custom colour options.
First off is a gorgeous version of our Mod Garden wedding invitation that we’ve done for Emma + Paul – customised with a hint of red and a double happiness symbol (which is the chinese symbol for marriage, a good luck symbol for newlyweds). Best wishes and double happiness to you both xx

Vintage {chic}
lifeI love vintage posters. The illustrations, the colour, the typography, I’d been longing for the Favor one for a while, they sometimes have it in the window of a store on High Street, but tonight I’ve found a new favourite on Galerie Montmartre (found via Real Living).
Bally Plume – I just love it, a combination of my favourites red, pink, footwear and fashion!
Ahh, I would love this on my office wall! xx
